Our beekeepers club has a diverse range of people who are interested in all aspects of beekeeping — we have members throughout the Waikato region.
Our club holds monthly meetings in Hamilton at the Ruakura campus club to exchange ideas and learn from a variety of guest speakers. We also host a monthly hive day at our bee-friendly club hives in Puketaha used to show beekeepers an introduction to hands-on hive management.
Other activities, including field days, are held to assist members in learning more about beekeeping and the successful management of their hives. In addition, a monthly newsletter keeps everyone up to date.
The club welcomes new members, young and old, those brand new to beekeeping, or experienced hands.
